5. How long will a tank of oil last?
That depends on a variety of things; how cold it is, where your tank is located, what your thermostat is set on, the size of your house/unit, how well insulated your home is and the size of your oil tank.
6. How often should I order a heating oil delivery?
The best time to order a fill is when your tank gauge reads between 1/4 and 1/8.
7. When can I expect my delivery?
Samson Fuel can make a delivery within 24 hours of placing your order, many times the same day, depending on your location. We will also work with you to provide a delivery at your convenience.
8. What if I have an outside tank?
Samson Fuel offers a blended product to help prevent gelling during the winter months. We also offer Kerosene, which may be required in some Mobile Home Parks. Kerosene is delivered on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the peak heating season, and should be scheduled 48 hours in advance.
